Bheki Cele to visit Brendin Horner's family
Updated | By Algoa FM
Police Minister, Bheki Cele, will be meeting the family of slain Free State farm manager, Brendin Horner on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old was murdered earlier this month on a farm in Paul Roux.
Cele's visit will coincide with the court appearance of a businessman - charged with terrorism and inciting violence - among other charges - following the protests at the Senekal Magistrate's Court last week over the killing.
The Minister says despite efforts to restore calm and reduce tensions in the town - the SAPS won't allow people to take the law into their own hands.
"People can't come there and bully the State and do the things they did at Senekal again. This time we will be ready. This time we will be there to protect the property of the State, to protect the integrity of the State and to protect human beings even when those people are suspects."

Meanwhile, the two suspects arrested in connection with Horner's murder are due to appear in court later this week.
At the same time - Cele has officially launched the hotline number for the police watchdog, the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
He says while the majority of the men and women in blue are hard-working, dedicated and honest officers, there are some who disgrace the uniform through their actions.
