Bester, Magadumana reunited in Bloemfontein court
Thabo Bester has, for the first time, appeared in the dock alongside the 11 people accused of helping him escape from a maximum security prison.
He sat next to Dr Nandipha Magudumana, with whom he was arrested in Tanzania in April.
The pair were seen smiling at each other and chatting in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Tuesday morning.

During proceedings, Bester, through his lawyer, complained about his treatment at the Kgosi Mampuru III C-max prison in Pretoria, where he's being held.
The case has been postponed to October for further investigation.
