Authorities hope to resolve Ntambanana unrest over public transport
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Transport officials say they're going to address the situation in Ntambanana, west of Richards Bay - where protests erupted over public transport issues.

Commuters were stranded for two weeks. Operators and passengers boycotted the bus service as a result of the labour dispute.
Areas such as Sanguye and KwaBiyela were the worst affected. Transport's Mluleki Mntungwa says they remain committed to sorting out the problem.
"We want to urge the bus operators and commuters to work with the department to ensure that bus operations run smoothly. As the department - our doors will remain open, to ensure that any challenges will be attended to as speedily as possible," he says.
