Updated | By Portia Cele
Police and traffic officials are working to clear the N2 off-ramp near Jozini.
Community members from eMachibini and Emphoweni shut down both carriageways of the highway with stones, boulders and tyres preventing trucks and public transport vehicles from entering and leaving the northern KwaZulu-Natal town.
According to locals there, they want their water supply to be restored.
The police's Thembeka Mbhele says no one's been arrested.
