Astronomical Society aims for new world record in Durban
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
The Astronomical Society in Durban will try to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people simultaneously looking into the skies.

The society's Logan Govender says they want to attract people in Durban and make them aware that a society - interested in studying celestial objects - exists in the city.
To break the record, around 2000 people will have to look up at the sky using telescopes, binoculars or any optical instrument.
