Fifty-eight-year-old Daniel de Bruin, his 60-year-old wife, Glynis and their 84-year-old relative Collin de Bruin were found dead at their home yesterday.

They had all been stabbed.

The suspects aged 27 and 35 were arrested this morning at Swapo informal settlement in Copesville.

The police's Thembeka Mbele says the suspects aged 27 and 35 were arrested at the Swapo Informal Settlement in Copesville earlier today.

She said there was apparently a labour dispute between Daniel de Bruin and two of his workers.

Mbele said two of his workers were not pleased with their employer’s decision.

The farm was closed and the employees were moved to a nearby informal settlement where they stay.

"Yesterday, the suspects arrived at the farmer’s tuck shop which is situated inside the premises and found the deceased son, bought chips and passed some remarks."

"Later in the afternoon, the deceased’s son was called by another farmer informing him that his father’s farm was on fire," she said.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday facing charges of murder.
