Armed robbers hit Galleria shopping centre in Amanzimtoti

There has been an armed robbery at Galleria shopping centre in Amanzimtoti.
Police say a group of men targeted one of the stores on Friday morning and stole several items.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala said: "A case of business robbery is being investigated by Amanzimtoti SAPS following an incident that took place today [Friday] at 09:45, where a group of armed males entered the business premises in Amanzimtoti.

"At gun point, the suspects took perfumes and cell phones from the employees. No shots were fired and the suspects fled the scene after the incident. The matter is still under investigation."
