Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
KZN authorities are appealing for help in identifying a boy whose body was found floating in the Umkomaas river - on the upper south coast.

Police believe he was about 10-years-old.
The child's body was recovered from the water near the river mouth by Durban Search and Rescue officers - two days ago.
It's understood a train driver had alerted them.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says no one has yet come forward to identify the body.
"The members of search and rescue retrieved the body of an unknown ten-year-old boy in Umkomaas. The deceased allegedly drowned and the body was found floating on the river. Umkomaas police are investigating an inquest docket and the circumstances surrounding the incident," Gwala said.
This comes after a man's body - that was partially eaten by sharks - was recovered at Umhlanga's main beach on Friday, last week. Police are yet to identify him.
