Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenen, says the man slammed into a street pole on Kenneth Kaunda Road.
Van Reenen says he died at the scene.
"Reports from the scene suggest that a 65-year-old male may have suffered a medical condition causing him to veer off the roadway with the vehicle going up stay-wire of a traffic light pole. The driver of the vehicle was found still seated in his vehicle. Unfortunately he sustained a fatal medical condition and there were no signs of life," he said.
Authorities are investigating the exact causes of both crashes.
