Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Anti-Drug Forum SA has praised investigators who, in the space of several weeks made two major drug busts in Hluhluwe, on KZN's elephant coast.
In the latest operation, police on Wednesday confiscated dagga valued at 3 million rand from two vehicles travelling between the town and Swaziland.
Six suspects were nabbed.
Last month, crime-fighting unit, the Hawks, stopped a truck and seized more than 300kgs of heroin powder, with a street value of over 80-MILLION-rand.

The Forum's Sam Pillay has commended the police for their efforts.
"It's very likely that this quantity was destined for laboratories where the data products now and so-claimed medicinal value are flooding the market they claim that these kinds of products can cure almost anything," he said.
"It's not even tried and tested but it's for sale and people are gullible and desperate and are actually buying these items from people who are manufacturing these whole ranges of dagga products," he added.
