Another fuel march planned for Durban
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
People Against Petrol and Paraffin Price Increases says it's planning a march in over a week's time in Durban.
Last month, the organisation handed over a memorandum of demands to government - complaining about the increasing cost of fuel.
The price adjustment in July took the petrol price to a record high at over R16 a litre.
Speaking in Durban today, Pappi's Visvin Reddy said their march would take place on the 13th.
"The march is going to be a show of strength so that the government will know that fuel prices are affecting the people. We've seen in recent years that the only language this government understands is the language of protests. Talking, diplomacy, and negotiations is foreign to this government," Reddy said.

Reddy says they also want government to put a moratorium on future fuel price increases until its talks with authorities are concluded.
