Announcement of newly elected ANC leader imminent
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
ANC supporters and South Africans at large are holding their breath to see who will emerge as the ruling party's new leader.

Voting is still taking place at Nasrec, south of Johannesburg.
Voting is taking some time, with delegates moving through the voting booths 200 at a time, voting took place through the night.
It's understood the ANC's biggest province, KZN is still voting and a couple of other provinces still need to vote and then the counting will start.
Results should be released around about lunch time, maybe even the late afternoon or early evening of who is going to be the new ANC president - Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma or Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The organisational report by the outgoing Secretary General, Gwede Mantashe was tabled last night.
He is expected to brief the media on that report, today.
Plenary will start at 12pm, it will be a closed session but Fikile Mbalula will deliver that report and it will be a report on organisational renewal.
See the guide on the party's election process below.
