Corruption-accused former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi has been moved to a private hospital after his health took a turn for the worse.
This comes after he spent less than a week at a public facility.
Agrizzi was initially moved from a Johannesburg prison to hospital after his health deteriorated last week.
His lawyer Daniel Witz confirmed he would be admitted to a high-care ward on Monday.

“I confirm that we were contacted at 12 o’clock today, myself and the family, to inform us by DCS (Department of Correctional Services) and the doctor at the public hospital that Mr Agrizzi’s condition had worsened and that they recommended that we approve the transfer of Mr Agrizzi to a private hospital in order that he can be admitted to an ICU or high-care facility,” he said.
Agrizzi’s condition was thrust into the spotlight after he was denied bail by the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on fraud and corruption charges.
He has since applied for a motion to appeal the ruling.
