ANCYL to march to Umhlanga call centre

The ANC Youth League in eThekwini says about 300 protestors are planning on marching from the traffic circle near Makro at Cornubia Mall to the CCI call centre in Umhlanga.

Convener Sbusiso Khumalo says they're continuing with their demonstration from last week.
Disgruntled workers want the call centre to be shut down.

"They are ill-treated, unfair dismissal, low salaries, no nightshift allowance, no overtime allowance. We then decided to picket against CCI.
"We met last week first with MEC (for economic Development Tourism and Environmental Affairs) Ravi (Pillay) and secondly with the HOD of Economic Development. Our meeting was definitely not fruitful."
