ANC will mark 109th Birthday with virtual celebrations
The ANC is marking its 109th birthday and the party will celebrate the event virtually with social media watch parties.
President Cyril Ramaphosa will be delivering a statement at 7 this evening
The party's Head of Organising, Nomvula Mokonyane briefed the media yesterday.
She said the country's twin pandemics - Covid-19 and gender-based violence would get the most attention when the President speaks tonight.

He'll also unpack the party's plans for the new year.
"The January 8 statement unveils the ANC programme action of the year in the coming months we expect all cadres of our movement to respond with practical action to the marching orders as it will be articulated in the statement."
