ANC members urged to comply with Zondo commission
Updated | By Newswatch
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC's decision-making body has full support in the state capture commission.

"Therefore reiterated its support for the work of the Zondo commission and called on all ANC members and supporters and indeed all members of society to assist the commission in its work.
"Several ANC leaders have made or are scheduled to make submissions to the commission.
"Myself will be appearing before the commission on the 22nd and 23rd April in his capacity as the current ANC president and former ANC deputy president."
Delivering the closing remarks after a four-day NEC meeting, the President also issued a strongly worded message against corruption.

He says party members charged with corruption or other serious crimes must step aside within 30 days or be suspended - if they don't.
In what appears to have been a response to former president Jacob Zuma's refusal to comply with a Constitutional Court ruling - Ramaphosa had this to say.
"The ANC distances itself from attacks on the judiciary that seek to undermine its legitimacy and the decisions that it takes.
"Our constitution provides sufficient safeguards against the abuse of power by any arm of the states and any person who has evidence of any misdemeanour or abuse should make use of the available remedies that are clearly outlined in our legislative instruments."
In a response last week to the matter concerning the ConCourt and the State Capture Commission, Zuma cited prejudice and said that his constitutional rights had been violated.
