ANC to appeal cadre deployment ruling: Mbalula
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Following the DA's successful court challenge to force the ANC to hand over all documents related to cadre deployment, the governing party has confirmed it will appeal.

The ANC missed Wednesday's deadline to provide the opposition party with the documents.
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula says they refuse to be forced to disclose such information as it's the exclusive property of the ANC.

Mbalula spoke during a briefing on the outcomes of the party's national working committee meeting on Thursday.
"As of yesterday, 21 June 2023, petition the Supreme Court of Appeal. Our view is that the judge erred of law, and we are therefore confident that a higher court might come to a different conclusion on the matter.
"The ANC will use available legal avenues and recourse to the courts to preserve its information which is the property of the ANC to the exclusion of any other party."
