Action SA in KZN says City has neglected its citizens

Newly formed political party Action SA believes the poor voter turnout in eThekwini during last week's by-elections was due to citizens having thrown in the towel.

Action SA's leaders are in KZN to introduce the party to residents.
Speaking in Durban, founder Herman Mashaba said they’ve gathered the ANC-run eThekwini has neglected the City's citizens.
"Of all the metros in South Africa, eThekwini had the lowest poll in last week's by-election at just 18%.
We met many business owners in Durban, who complained deeply about the municipality's failure to support their effort, having to deal with incorrect municipal bills and unresponsive city.

Action SA's KZN Chairperson, Makhosi Khoza says they fail to understand how the ANC keeps being voted into power when its record includes municipalities such as uMsunduzi which is under administration.

"These men and women are the ones who said to me, we can not go to Maritzburg. That's your home base because of the level of frustration that the people of Msunduzi Municipality is unbelievable."
