Ace Magashule supporters urged to refrain from violence
Updated | By Andrew Robertson
ANC Treasurer-General, Paul Mashatile has discouraged members from inciting unrest.
In a now deleted-tweet, Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina called for civil unrest in support of ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule who's had a warrant of arrest issued for him by the Hawks.
Masina claimed State institutions were being used for political ends.
Magashule's case is in relation to an asbestos tender that was awarded by the Free State government when he was premier.

He is set to appear in a court in Bloemfontein on Friday.
At a briefing on yesterday's top six meeting, Mashatile said Magashule had asked that his supporters not wear party regalia if they want to show up at court.
"Members can attend court as individuals but they should not go there with a purpose to represent ANC. If there was a necessity for the ANC to be represented that would be done at the highest level so they, attend court on Friday."
