About 14 people missing in Mthwalume as probe continues
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Police Minister, Bheki Cele says around 14 people have been reported missing in and around Mthwalume, on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.
He says this information will form part of their investigation into the bodies discovered in the area.
Cele addressed members of the media on Monday, outside the Umzumbe Magistrate's Court where two men arrested in connection with the murder of five women were set to appear.

It emerged that the main suspect in the case took his own life while in police custody, hours after he'd allegedly confessed to the murders of four of the women.
Police say there was insufficient evidence to hold the second suspect and the matter was not enrolled at court.
Cele says they've expanded their investigation and will continue to probe new information supplied by the suspect.
"About 14 people were reported missing, so we will establish if those people were found and what conditions they are in - dead or alive," says Cele.
