Three senior officials from the Abaqulusi District arrested on charges of corruption and bribery are out on bail.

Maria Buyisile Mabaso, Nkosikhona Mdlalose, and Zakhele Buthelezi appeared in the Vryheid Magistrate's Court earlier.
The Hawks say they were nabbed yesterday - in a sting operation as they were offering a member of another political party R20 000.
Mabaso, Mdlalose, and Buthelezi - who are ANC leaders in the district - apparently tried to buy the vote of a DA councillor in a bid to remove the speaker.
