8 more 'unrest instigators' appear in Durban court

Eight more people appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with last year's unrest.
The alleged instigators are Siyabonga Shandu, Lihle Mnguni, Jabulani Radebe, Swelihle Shembe, Sethembile Sithole, Philiswe Zungu, Psychology Malope and Nhlanhla Ndlovu.
Their arrest brings to 34 the number of suspects nabbed over the past week and a bit.
KZN NPA spokesperson Natasha Kara says the latest group has also been granted bail.

"Bail was set at R3000 each, with the following conditions. The matter was remanded to 26 August 2022 for further investigations."
Under their bail conditions, they must not post any information regarding the case on social media, and must inform the investigating officer if they want to leave KZN.
