Three more to appear in court for July unrest
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
The Hawks have arrested three more people whom they believe were among the instigators of last year's July unrest in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

This comes after 22 alleged instigators appeared in the Durban Magistrate Court on Friday, facing charges ranging from conspiracy to commit public violence, incitement to commit public violence and incitement to commit arson.
They were granted R3 000 bail.
The July unrest left more than 300 people dead and caused damage to infrastructure worth billions of rands.
The arrests are part of the Hawks’ investigation into those who incited public violence through social media and other platforms during the July unrests.

“The three will appear in court on Monday at the Durban Central Magistrate’s Court."
Suspects are facing charges ranging from conspiracy to commit public violence, incitement to commit public violence and incitement to commit arson.
