3 killed in Verulam factory fire

Emergency first responders say three people have been killed in a fire that ripped through a factory in Verulam.
Lifestyle Furniture which stores beds, couches, foam products and pallets caught alight on Eagle Road on Friday night.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
eThekwini Fire says 22 crew members worked into early hours of the morning (approximately six hours) to contain the inferno.

Divisional Commander Bheki Hadebe says the building was declared unstable by engineers yesterday.
"We had to wait for the building engineer who had to certify that the building is unstable."
