3 killed, 12 injured in N3 collision

Three people have been killed in a collision at the Frere interchange near Midway.

KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie says a truck and a minibus collided on the southbound route on Thursday morning.

The cause of the smash isn't known at this stage.
"Paramedics treated a total of 12 patients at the scene, including a child who had sustained critical injuries."
"As EMS we would like to warn motorists to please be extremely cautious on the roads as we are experiencing high traffic volumes and to adhere to all the road laws," says Mckenzie.
