2017 Year in Review: Biker killed in horrific N2 crash

This was definitely the case with one particular motorbike crash in KwaZulu-Natal earlier this year.

A biker was killed in a crash on the N2 in the vicinity of the King Shaka International Airport on the 31st of January.

Some seasoned medics described the accident scene as being the worst they had ever attended.

A motorbike and a truck collided, with debris from the bike being strewn over an area of about 100 metres.

Netcare911 spokesperson Chris Botha said at the time that the fire department had to extinguish some of the wreckage that was still on fire.
