12 in court for fraud at Verulam testing station

Twelve suspects arrested in connection with
fraud at a testing station in Verulam are appearing in a Durban court today .

They were arrested during a sting operation on Friday.
The KZN police's Robert Netshiunda say the group is believed to be involved in the sale of fraudulent documents.

"An employee of the eThekwini Municipality, a cleaner and a security guard at the same testing station, as well as nine other people aged between 27 and 41 years old were busted by undercover officers for suspected fraudulent activities involving the sale of fraudulent documents.”
Three vehicles, a printer, a camera and an undisclosed amount of money were
seized during the operation.
