11 nabbed for business robberies in Mtubatuba

Eleven men, suspected of being behind a recent spike in business robberies in Mtubatuba, are due to make their first appearance in a northern KwaZulu-Natal court on Monday.

Members of the Empangeni Tactical Response Team arrested the group, over the past weekend.
The men are accused of hitting businesses since November, robbing staff at gunpoint.
Police tracked down the suspects - aged between 18 and 35-years-old - and nabbed them in different homes in Mtubatuba.
Two face charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Officers say more arrests can be expected.
