Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
KwaZulu-Natal police have arrested 10 suspects after a gang hijacked a truck carrying tobacco, making off with over R100 000 near Dundee yesterday.

The armed suspects are said to have forced the truck to stop near Tayside between Dundee and Vryheid.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the driver and a passenger tried to runaway but they were caught and taken back to the vehicle.
"The vehicle was driven away by the suspects towards the Tayside area where they offloaded the tobacco worth more than R100 000 - into their VW Polo and Quantum that had already joined them. The suspects fled using those two vehicles," Zwane said.
Zwane says the suspects were traced found at a house at Mdakane area outside Dundee where they were arrested.
