Hijacking suspect on the run arrested
A hijacking suspect, wanted in connection with a number of cases in Chatsworth, Bayview and Malvern, is due in court today.
The 43 year-old was nabbed in Westcliff, south of Durban, on Tuesday after police received information he'd been using a home in the area as a hideout.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the suspect has been on the run since January.
"We can confirm that a 43-year-old suspect is due to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate's Court facing charges of hijacking. They are still investigating this matter," Zwane said.
