1 killed in Mariannhill Toll Plaza horror crash
There's been a serious multi-vehicle crash on the Durban-bound side of the Marianhill Toll Plaza.
Reports from the scene are that a truck driver lost control of the vehicle, which slammed into several cars before rolling down an embankment.

Netcare 911's Shawn Herbst says a number of people have been hurt, and some were trapped in the wreckage.
"Medics found that multiple people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious with occupants of vehicles still entrapped. One person has sadly been declared deceased following an advanced life support resuscitation.
"Multiple other patients have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. All the injured have been treated on scene and have been transported to hospital for further treatment."
