We thought we had seen and heard it all after a couple in India named their twins Corona and Covid in March.

But it seems technology entrepreneur Elon Musk decided to take things to a whole new level of weird.

The South African-born billionaire and singer Grimes welcomed their first child together, a baby boy they named X Æ A-12!

The name has baffled many of Elon's followers, with some questioning if people would even be able to pronounce it.

Grimes was the first to explain the meaning behind the strange name.

"•X, the unknown variablem•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence) •A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (metal rat)," she wrote.

Elon hopped onto her feed to correct one part of her explanation.

All that explaining and social media users still have no idea how to pronounce the baby's name.

Some have suggested the name is pronounced like Kyle.

"I didnt know there was a douchier way to spell the name kyle," one Twitter user wrote.

It seems both Grimes and Elon might be confused about how their baby boy's name is pronounced.

"It's just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I," Grimes said on Instagram.

Elon made things even more confusing when he revealed on Joe Rogan's podcast that the name is pronounced  "X Ash Archangel."
