"Thank you for welcoming me into your community" - Katy Perry had a blast at the CMA.
Pop star Katy Perry wowed the audience with her impressive vocals at the 56th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards this week.
The 38-year-old performed her duet, 'Where We Stand', with country music star Thomas Rhett at the ceremony. The full version of the live performance was made available online on Thursday.
"Country girls, we’re unforgettable. Thank you for welcoming me into your community @thomasrhettakins @cma," Katy captioned a short clip of their performance on Instagram.
Katy and Thomas released their hit collaboration in April this year. The song features on the country singer's sixth album. They released the official music video for the single in October.
Other performers on the night included Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Kelsea Ballerini.

Shortly before taking to the stage at the awards, Katy turned heads on the red carpet in a unique all-jean outfit. The 'American Idol' judge wore a denim corset top and matching denim pants. The Marques Almeida look included an oversize bow.
Katy also wore a denim look for her performance with Thomas. The off-the-shoulder dress was made out of a cutout denim jacket.
Katy completed the look with a pair of boots, fishnet stockings, and a leather hat.
