Twitter users mock Kanye West's new Yeezy shoes

Everything Kanye West touches turns to gold, but the rapper might have a little trouble getting his new Yeezy slides off the shelves. 

The chunky shoes have been widely panned by social media users, with some saying the orthopaedic-looking slides are the ugliest things they have laid eyes on. 

To Kanye's benefit, the shoes look comfortable, but they miss the mark on the style stakes. 

Unlike his trendy Yeezy sneakers, the slides leave little to be desired.

Kanye shared pictures of the shoes several days, and they still have people talking.

“It takes a lot to out-ugly Crocs but I think you have pulled it off!” one Twitter user posted.

The pictures Kanye shared are apparently a rough draft of the sandals. He might need to go back to the drawing board judging by all the hate.

Despite his slides getting major flack on social media, Kanye went on to share a picture of yet another crazy shoe design.

His genius idea? Track pant-boots!

If April Fool's Day wasn't long gone, we would have been convinced Kayne was just fooling around.

But the shoes are legit and the man who got his die-hard fans to spend millions on clothes with holes in them, now wants us to fork out our hard-earned cash on some ugly shoes. 

It seems Kanye himself is not sure about his latest shoe designs.

He captioned a picture of track pant-boots "WTF".
