Siya Kolisi gets his Racing 92 teammates to sing 'Sister Bethina'

Teach them, captain!
Siya Kolisi is taking South Africa's "unofficial" national anthem to the world. The Springboks captain recently made his debut for the French rugby club, Racing 92.
When he is not helping his teammates secure wins, he is teaching them how to sing Mgarimbe's smash hit, 'Sister Bethina'.
'Sister Bethina', along with Mandoza's Nkalakatha, was played just about every time South Africa took to the pitch during the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

So, it should come as no surprise that some members of Siya's team already know some of the words.
Siya shared a video of his teammate Inia Junior Tabuavou singing along with him.
Mgarimbe approves! "Teach them my captain!" he wrote on Instagram.
South Africans are also thrilled that Siya is giving his teammate a taste of home.
"The South African energy is contagious," one fan commented. Another fan wrote: "So cool to see you spreading the culture."
Siya is also getting a taste of French culture. He revealed in a post-match interview that he has already tried edible French snails (escargot).
The two-time RWC winner added that he hopes to try frog legs next!

Siya's family also seems to be adjusting to their new life in France. He was spotted out and about with his wife, Rachel Kolisi, and their children, Nicholas and Keziah.
They enjoyed the amazing light trail at Lumières En Seine. Siya couldn't help but break out into song yet again!

Siya also shared a video of himself walking to a local grocery store with a mini trolley in tow. Rachel joined him on the trip.
Fans were surprised to see South Africa's royal family carting shopping bags and a trolley up and down the street.
"I will steal you a trolley from Pick ‘n Pay and ship it over. We can’t have our two-time RWC winner shopping like that," one of Siya's followers joked.
Siya's Springboks teammate Eben Etzebeth also teased him in the comments section.
"I hope your trolley gets a flat tyre," he wrote.
