Prince William and his wife, Catherine 'Kate' Middleton, shared their annual family Christmas card on social media a few days ago, much to the delight of their millions of fans.

The card features William, Kate, and their three children - Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8), and Prince Louis (5).

The family, who were dressed in jeans and white shirts, looked like they just stepped off the set of a JC Penny ad.

"Our family Christmas card for 2023," William and Kate's official Instagram page captioned the cute snap.

Their 23-million fans gushed about how stunning the royal family looked. However, upon closer inspection, fans noticed something strange about the image.

"Anyone talking about why Prince Louis is just missing a finger?!?" one follower wrote.

The young prince's middle finger seems to have been accidentally photoshopped off during the editing process. It's hard to miss! So, how did William and Kate's team miss such a glaring error?

Or are they trying to tell us something [insert side-eye emoji].

Some people pointed out other errors with the image.

"Photoshop fail!! There’s an extra leg in this picture!!!! How did the photographer did not notice?? Omg."

However, it appears the "extra leg" under Princess Charlotte's chair seems to belong to Kate. Louis' finger could also be tucked underneath his hand.

Missing finger aside, most people loved the family's Christmas card. "It’s a beautiful, simple and classy family photo that so many can relate to. I love the down to earth of the denim and converse," one person wrote.

Many noted that Prince George was already turning out to be quite the looker.

"Prince George is going to break hearts as he grows older!" one person wrote. Another user commented: "Wow Prince George is going to be a heartthrob like his father The Prince of Wales. "

Josh Shinner, the photographer behind the image, was thrilled to have captured the sweet moment for the family.

"It was such a pleasure to photograph The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family for the Christmas portrait this year. Without doubt one of the most relaxed and enjoyable sittings I’ve ever had, and I now have a whole new set of jokes that are right on my level thanks to the children," he wrote.

Royal fans are also eagerly awaiting the annual Christmas card of Prince William's younger brother.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have shared several Christmas cards in the past.

Their 2021 Christmas card, which featured Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also saw the family wearing matching denim looks.

The royal couple's 2022 holiday card did not include their children.
