Prince Harry and Meghan have been kicked out of their Frogmore Cottage residence allegedly to make room for the disgraced Prince Andrew.

News of their eviction comes several weeks after Prince Harry released his shocking memoir, 'Spare'.

According to royal reporter, Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just weeks to remove their belongings from the home, which is located in Windsor.

While the royal couple has made California their new home, they spend time at Frogmore Cottage whenever they are in the UK.

Their daughter, Lilibet Diana, celebrated her first birthday at the cottage in June 2022.

Harry and Meghan are said to be stunned by King Charles' decision to take away their official UK residence.

A spokesperson for the couple has confirmed that "the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage".

The move has been described as a "cruel" punishment as the cottage is the only place where the family can receive Royal protection, as it is located within Windsor Estate.

Harry and Meghan carried out renovations worth £2.4-million at the cottage. They repaid the money after stepping down as senior royals. The Queen gave the cottage to the couple as a wedding gift.

Prince Andrew was reportedly offered the keys to the cottage last week. The prince is being forced to downgrade from his current residence, the 30-room Royal Lodge, which is also located in Windsor.
