Pearl Thusi officially owns equity in a premium gin brand

Pearl Thusi is celebrating big news. The 'Queen Sono' actress revealed on social media that she acquired ownership in premium gin brand, Black Rose. 

Pearl is the latest celebrity to venture into the alcohol business. She joins Boity, Cassper Nyovest, Bonang Matheba, Khanyi Mbau, Kelly Khumalo, Somizi, and her bestie DJ Zinhle in the alcohol space. 

"From the time I tasted @blackrosegin I knew it was special - that it wasn’t just the name," Pearl wrote on Instagram. 

The 33-year-old says she is excited to see where her new business venture takes her.

"As a businesswoman and entertainer this is a huge milestone that I’m eager to celebrate with you countrywide and I equally cannot wait to see this venture growing from strength to strength," she added.

Pearl already has several businesses under her name. She launched her own line of hair products, Black Pearl by Pearl Thusi, in 2015. 

She partnered with soy candle and luxury soap maker, Sitota, to launch her Black Rose Collection. The mom of two is making boss moves.

"So proud of you Pearly," DJ Zinhle wrote on Instagram.

Bridget Masinga commented: "Congratulations. Its big money moves right there."
