Nonku Williams shares cosmetic surgery journey
Nonku Williams says she is opening up about her cosmetic surgery because she wants to be "real, open, and authentic".
'Real Housewives of Durban' star Nonku Williams is recovering in hospital after undergoing liposuction surgery.
The 44-year-old has decided to share her surgery journey with her 569, 000 Instagram followers.
"As part of my 'Glow Up Journey', I’m all about improving my health and I want to get body-beautiful too," she captioned a video shared on her page.
Nonku told her fans that she turned to plastic surgery because has "a few stubborn areas" that just won't go away.
She underwent liposuction in her back, arms and thighs this week.
"I trust my plastic surgeon, she’s warm, knowledgeable and so down to earth. Pray for my quick road to healing guys! I will keep you posted so you can walk this journey with me unfiltered. Here’s to looking and feeling my best and living my best life."
Nonku was all smiles post-surgery. The mother of three shared a picture of herself in her hospital bed. She posed for a picture with her 'Barbie surgeon' Dr. Klutch.
"I made it. God being so good…surgery went super well…I had the best team of doctors at the operating room. I’m feeling groggy, a bit nauseous and a bit of pain and swelling for now as to be expected but the meds are putting me on a natural high," she wrote.
Nonku added that she feels "snatched" after the surgery. "I’ll be able to see results gradually as healing continues."

Nonku's three children surprised her in the hospital after her surgery. They came bearing gifts! The siblings gave her chocolates and flowers.
"What a pleasant surprise from my favourite human beings. I love you guys," she captioned a video of their visit.
Nonku's RHODurban co-star JoJo Robinson, who has also undergone liposuction in the past, also paid her a visit.
"#JOKU FOREVER. Had to come visit my Nonkie Nonks post-surgery. She is gonna be looking all types of snatched... I love you so much..." JoJo wrote.
