Jake Paul will go head-to-head with former boxing champ Mike Tyson in a boxing event that will air live on Netflix.

The exhibition fight is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in America on Saturday, July 20. Jake - an internet celebrity turned professional boxer - is already labelling the match the "biggest fight of the 21st century".

"Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event," he said.

The 27-year-old says he couldn't be more excited about the fight.

"My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep."

Jake's brother, Logan Paul, has also taken on a boxing legend. Logan's fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was one of the most talked about sporting events of 2021.

Floyd, who retired from boxing with an undefeated record, easily beat the YouTube star but did not inflict major damage. Many felt the fight was rigged, as Floyd should have made mince meat of Logan.

The pair made millions from the exhibition fight, with some reports putting Floyd's earnings for the match at between $50 million and $100 million.

Social media users are not convinced that Jake will come close to knocking out Mike.

"It’s scripted if Mike loses to Jake he was paid end of story," one Instagram user wrote.

Another user added: "Rest in peace, Jake Paul."

However, some feel that Jake accepted the fight because he could easily make money fighting an older Mike.

"Jake Paul fighting a 57 year old man and calling that the biggest fight in history is nasty work," one X user wrote.

We guess everyone will just have to wait for July 20 to see how this fight goes down!
