MiCasa lead singer J'Something says he was honoured to perform for boxing heavyweight Floyd 'Money' Mayweather during his recent visit to South Africa.

Floyd was in the country as part of his 'Motherland Tour', which also made a stop in Harare, Zimbabwe.

"Mayweather will focus on youth employment initiatives, engaging in Q&A sessions and delivering motivational speeches to inspire the next generation. As a testament to his appreciation, Mayweather will also give back to his devoted fans in the motherland, fostering a sense of gratitude and unity throughout his tour," the tour website stated.

He also celebrated South African boxing legends at a dinner in Sandton. MiCasa were guest artists at the event. Video footage from the banquet showed Floyd dancing to the band at his table.

"Not everyday that one of the greatest athletes of all time dances to your music … @floydmayweather what an honor it was to share in some time with you king! @micasamusic. We make music so we can dance …" J'Something captioned the clip on Instagram

The singer's fans told him that his music can make anyone dance.

"The beauty of music being a universal language," Jennifer Bala commented.
