Mariah Carey announces new album's title, release date
Updated | By Music Reporter
We are here for it! America's Songbird Supreme has shared new details about her upcoming music project.

Mariah Carey's fans can stop calling her new album 'MC16' because it officially has a title and release date.
The 'We Belong Together' hitmaker announced her upcoming album's name, 'Here For It'.
She also confirmed it will debut on September 26. The album was nicknamed 'MC16' in honour of her sixteenth LP.
"Baby, I'm here for it all," Carey sings in a clip shared on her Instagram page. The video shows her walking across a giant screen in knee-high boots and a skintight black outfit.
The album's name flashes on the screen behind her before revealing the project's cover art.
"I'm so happy to finally reveal my new album title to the world. I've been keeping it under wraps for what feels like an eternity! We're almost there, and I can't wait for you to actually listen to it!" the 56-year-old said.
Carey fans have waited seven years for the announcement. Her last album, 'Caution', was released in 2018.
"We are HERE FOR IT ALL!" one fan said. Another commented, "So excited for the new album."
Before Monday's announcement, Carey shared a teaser showing all 15 of her albums and some of her biggest songs over the years.
Her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, joined thousands in sharing their excitement about her impending album reveal.
"Greatest Of All Time!" he commented.
The Grammy Award winner released the album's lead single, 'Type Dangerous', in June.
She later shared four remixes, sharing various artists including Busta Rhymes, Redman and Method Man.
The 'Type Dangerous' music video featured several sexy men, including Mr Player, Mr Danger, Mr Traitor, and Mr Beast, played by YouTube star MrBreast.
Carey has promised fans that her album will include classic "Mariah ballads".
The album's second single is also coming soon, and will likely debut before her album release or on the same day.
"I'm very excited about it. It's very summery. I like the beat as well," she told Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden in an Apple Music interview.
