5. Darren Maule's on-air blunder
East Coast Breakfast host, Darren Maule, is known as the funny guy who says exactly what's on his mind. Just like us, he's human and he slips up at times. The most hilarious blunder had to be the one back in January when he had a slip of the tongue.
4. Terence's full interview with the Phoenix mum who abused her child
A shocking two-minute video surfaced in June showing a Phoenix mother repeatedly kicking and hitting her daughter, while her boyfriend recorded it and gave instructions. Terence Pillay from 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' sat down with the mother who abused her daughter. It was the most emotional interview we've ever heard.
3. The father of the abused Phoenix child spoke to Jane
Shortly after Terence's interview with the mother of the abused child, Jane Linley-Thomas sat down with the biological father to get his views and thoughts on the horrific incident. It was open and very honest.
2. Darren Maule's heartfelt message to the Shallcross family after the tragic hijacking
Our hearts went out to the Shallcross family back in May when they mourned the loss of their nine-year old daughter, Sadia Sukhraj. Darren Maule shared a very heartfelt message to the family, which went viral across the province.
1. The engagement that went wrong live on air
On Valentine's Day earlier this year, Damon Beard received a special Big Favour request from Steven, a young man from Durban who wanted to propose to his girlfriend live on air. But things didn't go quite as planned. Ouch!
