Katlego Danke threatens legal action over Patrice Motsepe rumours

Katlego Danke is speaking out following rumours that she is dating businessman Patrice Motsepe and pregnant with his child.

Katlego Danke is speaking out following rumours that she is dating businessman Patrice Motsepe.

The actress has been the talk of the Twitterverse for several days with some people going as far as to claim he is the father of her son.

Others claimed Katlego is currently pregnant with the billionaire's child. The gossip raised eyebrows as Motsepe is married to Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe.

The 'Gomora' star gave birth to a baby boy in 2014 but has never revealed his name or the identity of his father.  

"Did you know that Patrice Motsepe is richer than Jay Z and has a baby with Katlego Danke who is currently pregnant with twins?" one Twitter user wrote.

Another user added: "Katlego Danke a disgrace she been praised in SA for been a homewrecker to Dr Precious Moloi Motsepe marriage by even falling pregnant twice for Patrice Motsepe celebrities don't want to be independent they want rich lavish lifestyle by dating wealthy men to sustain them sies."

Katlego Danke sets the record straight about Patrice Motsepe

Danke ignored the rumours until they got so out of hand that she had to set the record straight. She has described rumours about her having an affair with Motsepe as “unfounded and malicious". 

She told Die Son that the billionaire is not the father of her child. 

According to TshisaLive, the actress will be taking action against people spreading false claims.

"Papers will soon be served on various individuals identified as culprits in this regard," the publication quoted the 43-year-old as saying.

Motsepe has also issued a statement on the matter via his lawyers - who have described the rumours are "fake news". 

“These allegations are defamatory and expose the disseminators of these false and untrue allegations to legal liability."
