Report: Justin Timberlake consoled Britney Spears with music after abortion

An insider shared an excerpt from Britney Spears' upcoming book with Us Weekly and revealed that Justin Timberlake played guitar to comfort the singer after she had an abortion.

Britney Spears lay on the bathroom floor sobbing after she terminated a pregnancy during the time she was dating Justin Timberlake. 

This was revealed by an insider who shared an excerpt from Britney's highly anticipated memoir, 'The Woman In Me', with Us Weekly

The source said Justin began 'strumming the guitar' as Britney lay 'crying and sobbing' on the bathroom floor after having the abortion.

This was reportedly Justin's way of comforting Britney. The insider said Timberlake “thought maybe music would help".

According to People Magazine, which quoted an excerpt from the book, Britney did not want to terminate the pregnancy but ended up having the abortion because Justin didn't want to be a father. 

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," People quoted an excerpt from the book.

Britney reportedly regrets having the abortion. 

“To this day, it’s one of the most agonising things I have ever experienced in my life," she wrote, according to People. 

'The Woman In Me' will be launched on October 24.   

Britney said writing the book was not easy. 

"Been so busy lately and there are so many hard things to read in the news about my book !!! Writing the book was so hard !!! Then I woke up this morning and said it’s all relative nothing really matters at this point," she wrote on Instagram. 

Britney currently has two sons - Sean and Jayden, who are 18 and 17 years old. She shares the sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline. 

The two children live with their father in Miami.
