Justin Bieber is tired of 'transactional relationships'

The singer has sparked concern after a cryptic post amid divorce rumours.

Justin Bieber has reignited divorce speculation after posting a cryptic message about relationships on Instagram.

"Tired of transactional relationships. If I have to do something to be loved. That’s not love," he captioned two black and white pictures of himself.

On the surface, the message appears to be some wise words. However, given nonstop rumours about his marriage to Hailey Bieber being on the rocks, fans are convinced the post has a deeper meaning.

The 'Baby' singer's mental health and well-being have also come under scrutiny in recent months following a series of bizarre posts.

"Love isn't a u get what u put in kinda thing. It's a receiving thing. Still find myself trying to earn love. And it's exhausting," he said in May, per E! News.

Some have even accused the Canadian star of using drugs. His team has vehemently denied the claims.

"Hailey begging you to go to rehab is not transactional, please give this woman a break," one social media user commented on his latest post.

Another added, "All his posts and captions seem like personal attacks to Hailey. How is this woman still with him? She continuously gets publicly embarrassed by her own husband."

Several people defended Bieber, urging people to stop shaming him and making jokes about her marriage.

"To the people in the comments being negative: Justin has been venting and sharing his feelings on his social media for years now. It’s really honourable to see a person of his calibre be so open with his thoughts. It takes a strong person to admit to the world that some days are harder than others," one fan said.

"He’s a raw and vulnerable human who goes through the motions like the rest of us. Let him share and be real. It makes him admirable."

Another Belieber wrote: "You’re very loved, we’re here❤️🙌."

Some pointed out that his post could also be about a friend, not his wife. Bieber and his former manager, Scooter Braun, parted ways in 2023.

The pair were also close friends, with Bieber even defending him when Taylor Swift accused him of being a bully.

Reports claim that Bieber owes his former manager millions of dollars.

Speaking to Steven Bartlett on an episode of the 'Diary of a CEO' podcast released on Monday, Braun admits their relationship is not the same as it used to be.

"We worked together for so long and we had such extreme success. I think you get to a point as a man where you want to show the world you can do it on your own and I completely respect that. I think at this point, that’s what he’s doing. And myself and everyone from the old team is rooting for him," he said.
