Justin Bieber: 'I know I'm broken'
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
The singer talks candidly about his anger issues after sharing a heated exchange with a "friend" and an upsetting encounter with the paparazzi.

Justin Bieber admits that he is "broken" and has "anger issues".
The Canadian singer opened up about his emotions following two incidents that have put his mental health and well-being back in the spotlight.
Bieber first addressed his temper in screenshots he shared from a text exchange with a friend.
"I will never suppress my emotions for someone. Conflict is a part of [a] relationship. If you don't like my anger, you don't like me. My anger is a response to pain I have been thru (sic)," he wrote.
The 'Sorry' hitmaker added: 'Asking a traumatised person not to be traumatised is simply mean."
The friend replied that he was "not used to someone lashing out" at him. "It's not that I don't see and feel your anger," the unnamed friend said.
Bieber appeared to take offence at the response, telling him that the "friendship is officially over".
The pair exchanged a few more messages before the singer announced that he would be blocking the friend.
"Please leave me alone now."
The 31-year-old's 294 million followers were confused by the exchange, with one saying being traumatised isn’t an excuse to treat people poorly.
"Your friend is allowed to set boundaries. You lashing out at him because of your trauma is not okay," one Instagram user commented.
Another user wrote: "Someone please intervene and get this dude some help before it’s too late."

Several hours later, Bieber returned to share another Instagram post about what he is going through.
"People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues.
"I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry," he wrote.
Bieber says he has worked hard to grow and focus on himself.
"Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. Because honestly, I'm exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren't you?"
South African rapper Cassper Nyovest joined thousands of people in leaving kind words under his post.
"Love and light, ma G. Jesus is sufficient and his grace will cover you," the 'Tito Mboweni' rapper wrote.
Some suggested that Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, consider leaving Los Angeles. Others also told him he needed a break from social media.
"Get sober, leave LA and go live in a cottage for a year with your wife and son."
Bieber's posts come shortly after a run-in with the paparazzi.
He lashed out at the paps after they refused to leave him alone while trying to enjoy some downtime at the beach.
"I'm a dad, I'm a husband, you are not getting it. It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business… I’m a human f***ing being and you're standing around my car at the beach... You're gonna take this video out of context, you're gonna say I'm mad. I don't know who the f*** is paying to provoke me, but I’m not the f***ing one.”
