Jay Z addresses his elevator fight with Solange
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Find out what Jay Z has to say about his infamous elevator fight with Beyoncé's sister, Solange.

We were all left shocked in 2014 when a video surfaced of Solange hitting her brother-in-law Jay Z while her sister Beyoncé calmly looked on.
The infamous elevator fight took place after the trio attended the Met Gala, and the lift's surveillance camera footage was leaked to TMZ.
So what caused Solange to go Kung Fu Panda on Jay's behind?
Sadly, we will never know the answer to that question. Bleh! But Jay Z has spoken about the incident for the first time ever.
Speaking to Rap Radar, the 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker says he has had only one disagreement with Solange - we take it he means the OMG-what-the-hell-did-I-just-watch elevator fight.
"Before and after we've been cool," he said.
In fact, Jay and Solange are so cool, he will protect her against anyone and anything - though, we doubt she needs his protection.
"She's like my sister. I will protect her. That's my sister, not my sister-in-law. My sister. Period," he told Rap Radar.
Awww so sweet! But we think Jay Z might need to have two bodyguards by his side the next time he steps into an elevator with Solange - just to be safe!
