BET Africa drops season 3 trailer for 'DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected'
The new season of DJ Zinhle's reality show will address some of her challenges as a mom and the loss of rapper AKA.
BET Africa has released the trailer for season three of DJ Zinhle's reality show.
'DJ Zinhle - The Unexpected' will premiere on Saturday, September 30.
"It’s finally happening! Please save the date... #TheUnexpected is back!!!" the 39-year-old captioned the trailer on Instagram.
The show will debut seven months after the murder of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes. The rapper is the father of Zinhle's eldest daughter, Kairo Forbes.
One scene in the trailer shows Zinhle chatting to AKA's mother, Lynn Forbes. She tells the 'Umlilo' hitmaker that she visited her son's grave.

Another scene shows an emotional Kairo complaining that she will only see Zinhle the next morning. The DJ has a close relationship with AKA's mother.
Lynn often babysits Kairo and Zinhle's youngest daughter Asante. She celebrated Asante's second birthday a few days ago by sharing a clip of their trip to the beach.
"Congratulations @murdahbongz and @djzinhle on raising your most adorable 2-year-old @asantewithlove. Happy birthday Baby Girl, you are such a blessing and joy in our lives and we love you so much!" Lynn wrote.
The new season also features footage from the 36th birthday party Zinhle threw for Murdah Bongz, who now goes by Mörda.
"I'm that annoying wife. I'm always talking about my husband," she jokes in the clip.
