British singer Zayn Malik's next dream collaboration is Miley Cyrus.

The 'Pillowtalk' hitmaker says he loves the sound of Miley's voice and thinks they could make good music together.

"I’d like to do a collaboration with her. I like her recent music a lot. She’s got a sick voice and I think we could do something really cool together especially in line with what my new record sounds like. Miley, if you hear this, if you’re interested, I’m here, let's do something," he said during a Stationhead livestream.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:

Zayn has collaborated with several artists, including Taylor Swift, Sia, Aur, Sabrina Claudio, and Nicki Minaj.

He is preparing to release his new album, 'Room Under the Stairs'. It is his fourth solo studio album since leaving One Direction.

Zayn parted ways with the group in March 2015. He left 1D in the middle of their ‘On the Road Again Tour’ due to stress and anxiety.

"I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world," he said.

The four remaining 1D members went on an "indefinite hiatus" in early 2016. They have all released solo projects since then.

Speaking during the Stationhead stream, the 31-year-old says he still enjoys listening to the band's old music.

“I’ve been listening to a bit of One Direction music recently, reminiscing. Good times. We made some good music as a band. We were pretty good," he said.
